Subject: Help me to make a difference on G-Day

Dear friend,

USC's annual giving day, G-Day, is an opportunity to create change in areas that matter to us. Working together, our small acts of kindness will have a really big impact. This giving day, we are raising funds for three important giving areas - mental health, conservation and environment and student support.

We need your help! Please join and help us reach our goal of raising as much as we can.

On 26 May 2021, visit www.givingday.usc.edu.au and make a donation. You can choose an area that matters most to you. There are some generous organisations standing by to match donations to some areas - doubling the impact of your donation.

All donations will go directly to your chosen area and gifts over $2 are tax deductible.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please let me know. Thank you for your generosity.

Subject: Make a difference for mental health on giving day (26 May)

Dear friend,

USC’s annual giving day (G-Day) is an opportunity to come together and make a difference to an area that matters to all of us.

Mental health is one of the world’s greatest health challenges, affecting up to 5 million Australians each year. USC's Thompson Institute is working with the community to address some of Australia’s most pressing issues: suicide prevention, youth mental health, PTSD and dementia.

On G-Day we want to raise as much as we can to support this great work and provide opportunities for more mental health community education, research and clinical services, including The Alliance for Suicide Prevention.

This is something I feel passionately about, and I’m planning to give and fundraise this G-Day. Will you join me?

Working together we can make a big difference and provide real solutions to mental health challenges facing our community and communities right across Australia.

Here’s how your kindness can change everything today:

  • Make a donation at https://givingday.usc.edu.au/organizations/mental-health
  • Select the FUNDRAISE button on the page to become a fundraising champion yourself
  • Spread the word. Text a friend. Forward this email. Post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or share one of our advertisements. You can also use the hashtag #uscgivingday.

All donations are tax deductible and 100% of funds directed to mental health will go directly to the Thompson Institute’s work, including The Alliance.

Together, our small acts of kindness can transform lives.

Thanks for your support,

Subject: Save endangered animals on giving day (26 May)

Dear friend,

USC’s annual giving day (G-Day) is an opportunity to come together and make a difference to an area that matters to all of us.

Some of our most iconic Australian animals, including the Koala, are on the brink of extinction.

We must act now to solve conservational challenges to create a future where our natural habitats and wildlife thrives, rather than fades away. This is critically important for our current and future generations.

This G-Day, USC is raising funds for USC’s Detection Dogs for Conservation and Koala Vaccine programs – researchers providing immediate solutions to the threats faced by our at-risk wildlife.

I can’t imagine a future without these animals, and I want to raise as much as I can to help. Will you join me?

Here’s what to do:

  • Visit the giving area page https://givingday.usc.edu.au/organizations/conservation-and-environment
  • Select Detection Dogs for Conservation and / or Koala Vaccine program at the bottom and then DONATE on the page.
  • You can also select the FUNDRAISE button on the page to become a fundraising champion as well.
  • Spread the word. Text a friend. Forward this email. Post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or share one of our advertisements. You can also use the hashtag #uscgivingday.

All donations are tax deductible and every dollar given will go towards saving more animals through the work of the Detection Dogs for Conservation and Koala Vaccine programs.

Working together, our kindness will change everything. for our endangered animals.

Thanks for your support,

Subject: Give to keep a USC student studying on G-Day (26 May)

Dear friend,

USC’s annual giving day (G-Day) is an opportunity to come together and make a difference to an area that matters to all of us.

We all know that studying can be stressful and for some students across Australia, and at USC, financial pressure is one of the main reasons students drop out before completing their degree.

G-Day makes a difference for students who need just a little extra to help them stay and achieve their study goals at USC.

All funds raised got to study support bursaries (open to apply now!) and the Scott Williams Foundation has generously offered to match every dollar dontated to G-Day up to $50,000.

This is something I feel passionately about, and I’m giving and fundraising on G-Day. Will you join me?

Here’s how your kindness can change everything for a USC student today:

  • Make a donation at https://givingday.usc.edu.au/organizations/student-support-bursary
  • Select the FUNDRAISE button on the page to become a fundraising champion
  • Spread the word. Text a friend. Forward this email. Post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or share one of our advertisements. You can also use the hashtag #uscgivingday.

All donations are tax deductible and 100% of funds directed to mental health will go directly study support bursaries. Your gift will be matched, up to $50,000 by the Scott Williams Foundation, doubling the impact of your donation.

Together, our small acts of kindness can transform lives.
